The snipe log says it put in the bid, but it didn't go through on eBay. What's wrong? The most common cause for this is that the default of 15 seconds to get in the snipe wasn't quite enough for the given machine/connection/etc. If the log says it actually put in the bid, then it did successfully sign in a minute ahead of time. You need to change the pre-snipe time. The suggestion is to set it to 30 seconds, and if it's an overly long amount of time, then trim it down to 25 and see where your best base time is by testing your computer/connection speed. Do I need to leave my computer turned on, and connected to the internet for Super Sniper PRO to work? Yes, currently Super Sniper PRO does not yet have the capabilities to dial-up to the internet, so the internet connection must be left on for Super Sniper PRO to get time from eBay, and also to signin/bid. I use my computers both at work and home, can I use Super Sniper PRO to snipe auctions from both work and home? Yes, we tie the registration to the person instead of the computer. It's you using the program, not the computer, so we feel if you are at work, or at home, you should be able to use it at either place. I have SSPRO already installed, and a new version is out. How do I upgrade? This one is very easy. Just exit your current install ( or make sure it's not running) and just run the new install and it will auto-upgrade your current version. Now, just start the software and you're upgraded already. When I install, I see a "delete code 5 failed" error. What does this mean and how do I fix it? That code means the installer is trying to install the program, but it's still running in your task bar. Exit the software and run the install again and it should be fine. |
